Martin Hingst

In the 80s windsurfing was one of the most populair sports world wide. Martin participated at the age of 14.

In his years as a windsurfer he sailed 7 times the toughest surfmarathon in the world; the surfelfstedentocht in The Netherlands.

He became multiple Dutch Champion in different classes and made it to the 5th place on the world championship in the raceboard class.

At the age of 35 Martin changed his windsurf career and moved to sailing.

After 4 years sailing with a X35 and being Dutch Champion he made the move to shorthanded sailing. In Holland he wins almost every shorthanded race with his first Ten.

For his job he moved to China and sailed many races. He won all the big races in China and became 3th during the World Championship in the FE 28R.

Living in China he started with his companion a fabric in producing sails. Martin his knowledge and lifetime experience are crucial to achieve the beste service for his customers. 

The sailing company (business to business) is one of the biggest in the world.

Searching for a new challenge he produced the second line Ten boat. This Ten2 is much faster and more efficient.

The Ten2 is an IRC optimised boat designed for shorthanded sailing and is competing for the Olympic Class boat 2024.
